_08: 08 Operating Theater contains 7 images; 7 operating rooms photographed with a view camera, in one take, exactly 5 minutes after the end of an operation ...

The author exploited the English term for an "operating theater", a terminology inherited from the first universities of medical education where the surgeons operated in amphitheatres.
And it is indeed a theater of operation that is given to us to see, in a detail at once gripping of truth and gloomy, a battle field of which we do not know the protagonists, nor the cause, nor the issue, but one can guess the play, the tragedy, the fight that took place there.

The point of view chosen by Pino Musi makes it possible to capture in a single image the global geography of this space and the smallest details of what happened there, to render with great intensity the moments - happy or difficult - that have just passed.
A beautiful work, certainly rough in its approach, but which is also presented in a beautiful large format book, from the light green cover that reminds the clothes of doctors to the blood color of the cover pages, and the impression of high quality of the photographs (Tritone).

Some time ago I decided to rethink some of my projects and realize them in a new, more concentrated form of zines. In almost half a year I managed to implement this idea and today I am...

This book has been designed to slowly reveal the location, the story, and its ending, to the viewer in a cinematographic manner. Time is the key element here...
