Some More Hong Kong Seating Arrangements

@ Wolf, Michael

New

One of the classic photobooks in the series of small volumes of thematic photographs by Michael Wolf from the streets of Hong Kong. This series was a close collaboration between Michael Wolf and publisher Hannes Wanderer from Peperoni Books.

Michael Wolf lived in Hong Kong and walked the streets of the city for over 20 years, turning his eyes and lens to the habits and idiosyncrasies of the inhabitants and street sellers who spend their days and weeks usually on the same spot and leave some of their material tethered to fences, water pipes and other street furniture. Wolf's images always focus on the objects, and we never get to see the owners.

As the title states, this volume displays chairs and other seating props.

PLEASE NOTE: We are offering THREE new copies or this volume: one is still sealed in the original publisher's shrinkwrap, and TWO copies are without the blister / shrinkwrap (these latter two have been browsed, but never been used as display copies, they are in excellent condition). This "early" series (he was 22 at the time) shades a different light on Michael Wolf's work, as we are mostly familiar with his...
