Papersky is a project developped for the book format, and - like the previous City of Dust - it is also available as a zine. For the purchase of the book + zine set, two prints featuring the artist's stamp, but not signed, will be added to your order (the prints are in the format and on the same paper as the book).
PLEASE NOTE: You can make your choice of option (book / zine / book + zine) under the price prior to adding the item to your cart.
WARNINGS:
- The book and the zine are handmade and may present small defects and imperfections due to the production process.
- The books and the zines were sent to us in enveloppes (see photos) that we will forward to you although they are all somewhat torn at the corners.
- We will ship the book + zine sets in a cardboard box provided by the artist for the shipment of our order; these boxes are fragile and all have been somewhat damaged (a bit crushed, bumped, torn at the flaps inserted for the closing process) during the transport / shipping.
- In all cases, we will always ship first the best remaining copies, prints, envelopes and boxes. IF WE HAVE MORE SIGNIFICANT IMPERFECTIONS ON OUR LAST COPIES / ITEMS, IT WILL BE STATED HERE.

MA TE
MA TE is a photographer who does not communicate much about her person, she is based in Beijing. The Chinese characters she uses to represent herself and that she calls CAI is « a symbol of destruction but also rebirth ». MA TE self-published in 2017 a zine and a book in limited editions, both handmade and both titled "City of Dust", then in 2018 a large Leporello book with a cement cover titled "The Concrete Dream", and a second zine "I Often Be Asked How I Get Models" in 2019.
