"August 1st, 2016: The Wear Helmet, Get Petrol, Be Safe campaign starts today. That doesn’t mean, of course, that you’ll be refused petrol if you aren’t wearing protective gear. Instead you’ll be handed a campaign leaflet by the pump-operator. In the Kochi-Ernakulam area there have been 17,000 two wheeler accidents in the past three years, with more than 1,200 motorists dead.
