First volume in a collection of long-format interviews made by writer, editor and journalist Rémi Coignet with photographers and leading figures of the photography and photobook publishing world.
Among other interviews in this volume: Lewis Baltz, JH Engström, Paul Graham, Rob Hornstra, Pieter Hugo, Daido Moriyama, Michael Mack, Mathieu Pernot, etc.
Starting in 2008 and for over 10 years, Rémi was the author of an important blog for photography and photobooks in France and the French language called "Des Livres et des Photos" and hosted on the newspaper Le Monde's website.
The follow-up volumes Conversations Vol. 2 and Conversations Vol. 3 were published in 2016 and 2020, respectively.
