Full title : "éléments d'une typologie de l'urbanisation contemporaine d'un village français de deux mille huit cent trente neuf habitants - volume 8"

The artist photographed the small city where he lives, Noyers-sur-Cher, and publishes in a series of 10 booklets this documentary work about a place that could be considered a fair example of the average French community. According to the artist « This French village has all the attributes of the typical village. »

The topic for this eighth volume is "Industrial estate".

With a text (French / English) by Bruno Marmiroli, architect, Landscape designer & Director of Loir-et-Cher CAUE.

A little nicety for this volume, in the words of the photographer :

« For this volume, I made little prints (8x8 cm on 10x15 cm paper) which will be sent with each copy.

While I was photographing in the industrial estate three young girls stopped by me with their car, asking me what I was doing and asking me to take a photo of them. This is the only photo with human beings shot in this series and it comes as a small gift ! »
