Series of 14 portraits of men at the barber, on an orange / reddish background; as the men still have the barber's blue-striped gown on them, only their face is visible, "clear cut" on the colorful background...
A self-published book by Christoph Soeder, in a print run of 35 copies only ! We are offering copy 7/35, signed by the artist. The book is a Leporello format (accordion-fold) printed on one side only; the hardcover is covered with a fabric similar to the one on the gown in the portraits.
The book can either be fully expanded, or read as a "regular" book as the "binding" is made of 2 snap-fasteners (or press studs), again, certainly similar to what is used to close the barber's gown (see photos). The book is closed by a third snap-fastener / press stud.
