Presentation of the project by the artist :

"Control is a visual investigation about the emancipatory potential of non-documentary image added to the sequencing, within a controlled system throughout its structure. It is also a critique of the role of photography in sustaining that system.

Project carried out under the influence of texts by Jean Baudrillard, Gilles Deleuze, Felix Guattari, Didi Huberman, Remedios Zafra or Hito Steyerl, as Techno music and songs of the first slaves in America, constructivism and concrete art, or work of artists like Julian Baron, Oscar Monzón, Alejandro Marote, Paul Graham and Miren Pastor."

This project has received "Full Contact - The Folio Club Award" at Scan Tarragona 2014 for the production of a photobook.

Unusually long vertical format, with a wire binding and a soft cardboard sleeve on a third of the book's height.
