Une démarche portée par Anahita Ghabaian et Newsha Tavakolian pour mieux mettre en lumière les histoires imbriquées de l’Iran et de la photographie depuis la révolution de 1979.

S’intéressant à la vie privée et intime, à l’identité individuelle et collective, la photographie iranienne contemporaine aborde aussi les questions sociales et politiques, accompagnant une société en mouvement. Subtile et loin des clichés, elle prouve avec ce livre sa brillante maturité."
