Mayumi Suzuki is a Japanese photographer who started photography after the disappearance of her parents in the 2011 tsunami on the Japanese Tohoku region, and the discovery of the remains of their home, their photo studio, and the muddy medium-format camera of her father.

Suzuki is best known for her work Restoration Will initiated immediately after the tsunami, in the rubbles of her parents' home, village and lives, in an effort to record memories and in a way maintain the souvenir of them alive... This project took the form of a self-published book in 2016 during the "Photobook as an Object" workshop held at Reminders Photography Stronghold, then to a new edition published by Ceiba in 2017.
