Laia Abril is a Spanish photographer. Laia initially studied journalism and later was trained as a photographer at the ICP (International Center of Photography) in New York.

Laia works essentially on subjects realted to women's rights and the woman condition in western societies. Her documentary work on subjects such as eating disorders and abortion have been published and have been exhibitied in many venues and festivals.
