Publisher's presentation :
"The photographs relate to the principal site projects that were established as part of the selection of the City of Mons as a European Capital of Culture 2015.
The photographs presented in this book have been carefully selected from a corpus of images that were created as part of a joint public project run by the Fondation Mons 2015 and the City of Mons.
The images chosen reflect the specificities of the various photographic approaches, ranging from the systematic archiving of the transformations to more plastic-orientated work freed from the constraints of purely ‘narrative’ photography.
All the shots were taken between September 2012 and January 2015."
A project initiated by the Mons 2015 Foundation and the City of Mons, Belgium.
Photographs by Maud Faivre, Pierre Liebaert and Zoé van der Haegen.
Texts (in French and English) by Yves Vasseur, Olivier Bastin and Marc Mawet.
