Brilliant series of images made in Rio de Janeiro.

One of the important books of 2012, selected as one of the best photobooks of the year for the "Paris Photo - Aperture Photobook Award 2012".

This book is first of all a very beautiful object, presented in an illustrated cardboard box, which contains a casing also illustrated, which itself encloses the book (format 19.5 x 25.5 cm).

This portfolio has the particularity of not being bound, the double-pages are maintained by a string, leaving the possibility to the reader to reorganize the book as he or she pleases.
A poster (36 x 47 cm - not shown in the photos) is maintained by a filling at the 3rd cover. On the back, the initial order of the pages as proposed by David Alan Harvey. Thus, if you want to make your own composition, you can always rearrange the photos according to the original sequence.

Also in the book, a small card that gives the indications to read and "rebuild" the book (see photo).

NB: 1 single cardboard recto / verso per photobook, cartons of two copies were used in the photo.
