Publisher's presentation:

"Loosely inspired by paper maps, and born from a strong desire to promote contemporary photography and foster a visual literacy adapted to current uses of photography, the Cartographie de la photographie contemporaine is a collection of take-away exhibitions.

Each Cartographie is curated in complete freedom by a different artist, collective, curator or photography expert, presenting their own very distinctive view of the medium.

As ready-made exhibitions, the Cartographies can be easily displayed anywhere. As affordable objects, they are made to be taken home.

In time, the collection will draw the complex and varied panorama that is contemporary photography. "

The Cartographie de la Photographie Contemporaine project (Cartography of Contemporary Photography) is a concept by Annakarin Quinto, and this No. 0 issue has been curated and designed by Stefano Marchionini.
