The work of Geert Goiris often creates a sort of mystery, coming from a way of using the evocative force within its subjects, or somehow generating this force from them... He often looks at details, close-up images of objects or familiar places that he suggests we pause upon, when we usually see them without actually looking.


In the books published with Roma, the photographs are most often presented as diptychs, calling upon the the reader's imagination even more, pushing the inner journey even further...
