Presses Universitaires de Bordeaux is the publishing house of the Bordeaux University "Montaigne". They publish books mainly in the field of social studies, for a public of mainly students, scholars, and other academic positions, but also for the general public for more mainstream publications.

They other publish studies related to the region and the culture of southwest France, the regions of "Aquitaine", Pays Basque", Landes", etc.

Most publications are in French only.
