Photobooks published by Seghers

Editions Seghers was founded in 1944 by Pierre Seghers and bought by Robert Laffont in 1960.
Seghers has made poetry his favorite field.
Her oldest and most important collection (300 titles) is "Poets of Today".
From Paul Eluard to Andrée Chedid, "Poetry First" is one of Seghers' flagship collections. Launched five years ago, it aims to broadcast poets belonging to the Seghers Fund (Aragon, Eluard, Guillevic, Roger Bernard, as well as newcomers).
"Poets et chansons", which has about thirty titles, is devoted to the sacred monsters of the French song (Brel, Brassens, Trenet, Renaud ...) but also to contemporary creation with artists such as Les Têtes raides, Louis Chedid or Matthieu Chedid.
