Presentation by the artist:

"This book is PART 3 of The Himalayan Project, a collection of artist's books designed with Philippe Koeune as different installations, embracing the city of Kathmandu where I lived with my small family and the nature of the Himalayas with a strong and dreamy empathy.

DZOGCHEN is a colorful, dense and challenging photo book, mixing collages and layers of images with no hierarchy between pictures, no pre-conceived idea of new graphic design made on the computer. No no no ! Each spread of the book was conceived as a different painting, a short story, a fragment of a holy object close from literature I have in mind and the essence of nature. It is round and exciting, full of surprises and echoes. You can hear the song of a bird in it. It is my offering to the wind and the mountains... A pure organic handiwork!"

This Limited Edition of Dzogchen (30 copies) includes an A4-format C-print and is presented in a silk-fabric pouch made in Kathmandu.

The book includes a text in two parts by Vincent Delbrouck (in English, 12 and 6 pages, thrown-in).

  • .Sold out. Presentation by Julia Borissova: " I am fond of the artist book form and have created about 14 books over the past 10 years. Most of the titles are sold out. Some time ago I decided to rethink some of my projects and realize them in a new, more concentrated form of zines. In almost half a year I managed to implement this idea and today I am...

  • Project presentation by Christopher Héry: "22:19 illustrates the wide range of emotions - fear, boredom, camaraderie, relief - that two young men have experienced during an intense 8-minute period. This book has been designed to slowly reveal the location, the story, and its ending, to the viewer in a cinematographic manner. Time is the key element here...
