A Black Matter (*Limited Edition w/ Print*)

With his book A Black Matter, Grégoire Éloy achieves a true tour de force, an exercise in style, by photographing black, what the astrophysicists call "black matter"...
Commissioned by a French local scientific institution, the artist worked in several places around France dedicated to research in the field of astrophysics where he met with scientists, their tools and apparatus, and the matter, the substance on which they are working.

The subject of the book may appear surprising, even cryptic, but the treatment and the result are very surprising as well, this time in the sense "remarkable".

We are offering here the Limited Edition of this book, that includes a print. Please refer to the "Suggestions" tab for the standard edition.

Also, an interesting presentation of this book (in French) on the blog Des Livres et des Photos.
