Certes, presque toutes les photographies sont le recueil d'un instant, mais dans son livre, Christophe Agou (dont le livre précédent "Face au Silence" avait remporté le "European Publishers Award for Photography 2012") nous propose un recueil d'instants insignifiants qu'ils a captés, et qui se révèlent être plus que cela...
Comme il l'indique dans son texte d'introduction, l'artiste est avide de ces moments-là, il les traque. Ces faits secondaires, à mi-chemin des extrêmes, instants banaux de la vie, en sont pour lui l'essence même.

 

Et les images qui constituent Les faits secondaires sont effectivement pleines d'énergie, de mouvement, de chaleur !

Des blancs brûlés et le choix d'un contraste poussé qui font parfois disparaître les visages, un temps de pose juste un peu trop long qui fige un mouvement ou déconstruit les formes, un trop-plein de lumière qui renvoie l'énergie; l'impression laissée par ces images est persistante, rémanente, comme lorsque l'on fixe la lumière un instant et la perçoit encore après avoir fermé les yeux...

Chacun(e) les siennes probablement, mais certaines images de ce livre marqueront vos pupilles durablement !
