"Depuis sa première édition en 2011, le festival Circulation(s) [website in English], initié par Fetart, est dédié à la jeune photographie européenne, avec pour ambition d’en faire émerger les talents, de fédérer un réseau d’acteurs européens et de permettre au public de découvrir une création artistique contemporaine innovante. Autour d’une exposition d’envergure qui dure cette année trois mois réunissant 23 photographes européens, il propose des activités pédagogiques (visites commentées par les artistes, projections, résidence d’artistes, parcours pour les enfants…), des ateliers/workshops et des lectures de portfolios par des professionnels à destination du grand public et des jeunes photographes. En cinq ans, cet événement a exposé plus de 225 artistes et reçus près de 175 000 visiteurs.

Cet ouvrage constitue le catalogue de l’édition 2016. Il présente l’ensemble des artistes et des intervenants de cette manifestation, caisse de résonance de toute une génération à la conquête de nouveaux territoires photographiques. Le travail de chaque artiste est présenté sur deux pages avec une sélection d’images, sa biographie et un commentaire critique.
