Bitesnich is a perfectionist “the only way to fly higher than the others“, as he expresses it. His mastery of light and shadow allows him to capture the bodies of his nude model surprisingly well. His respect of personalities unearths the subjects most beautiful side which becomes central to the power and tension visible within his photographies.

Unsurprisingly, Bitesnich’s nude portraits soon caught the attention of top European magazines and consequently images were published in Stern, Playboy, Max and GQ, to name a few.

In 1998, Edition Stemmle published his first book‚ “Nudes”.

In the same year, it won the Kodak Photography Book Award.
